Heavenly Father,
We come before you now in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We come to
you with humility, seeking truth as we read your word. We praise your Holy Name, and thank you for all that we are given.
We ask that you open our hearts to understanding as we read your word, help us to discern the truth and to live out your will,
as you would have it. We pray this in your precious name.
Jesus Christ, Amen
