Two VERY important aspects in following Christ are CHARITY and LOVE! In obedience to our Lord, we
at Saint Luke have developed a year-round Street Ministry to provide for the poor and needy. In definition, the
poor and needy doesn't neccessarily mean without finances, it also includes the need of spiritual direction.
Our young Ministry is targeting the streets of Grand Rapids, Michigan and will cover additonal
areas as our Lord provides.
In addition we will sponsor families in need of food and clothing for their loved ones, and assist
with finding shelter when needed.
Saint Luke also ministers to the ill and other shut-ins at area hospitals, nursing homes, county
jail, and private homes.
Thursday Morning
Every Thursday A.M. is Bible give away morning! brother Harry will have a booth set-up
and give Bibles to any that will receive them. Approximate time will be 9:00am. Cold non-alcoholic beverages will
also be provided during the warm weather and hot drinks in the cold months. Location is downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan
on the corner of Division Ave and Williams St., with alternate sites each week in areas of the most need.

As funds are available Wednesday night is Hot Meal night! Anyone wanting a dinner is welcome to it, however
our goal is to feed the hungry that have no other means to a meal. We will also have Bibles, Christian tracts and pamphlets
available. Our approximate time is 530pm. The location is downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan on the corner of Division
Ave and Williams St.

Donations
Donations of any kind are always welcome, and very much needed and appreciated!
In order for this Ministry to grow and reach other neighborhoods in need, donations of the following
will be a blessing! Bibles, Clothing, Winter hats and gloves, Blankets, Toys, Books, Non-perishable food items,
or Funds to purchase these items, as well as help cover operational expenses of Ministry. Please email Pastor Harry for details,
using the link below.
In following the example Jesus gave us in Matthew 22:21 where He said to "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and to God that which is God's", we
pay our taxes.
Therefore any donations given are not deductible from your federal income tax.
To follow the second commandment in this verse, we are to help others, for this is as giving unto
God.
